Lucky Palden Drukpa!
In heart of Mighty mountains,
The glory that rose of little Fountains,
The jewel in the midst of two giants
Lies Palden Drukpa in its utter defiance!

The students, farmers, workers and children
All in all we Bhutanese, born in Bhutan
A nation adorned with peace and happiness
A leader guiding us to the realm of peace

Persevering national sentiments, values that embody us,
Sacrifices his life, making is a living Eden
Freed us from mundane tunnel, opening to a new world
Risking all the risks, History reckons such heroes.

Tireless, selfless, trying to make his countrymen ever gleeful
Reconciling between the countries,
Diminishing disputes and skepticism
People’s goal with solemnity; accomplished.

A rare magnificence like Him, You the 4th Dragon!
I salute you for your utmost bravery,
I admire you for your sincerest leadership,
I respect you for all you did to your nation.

Worrying for people more than His life
Struggling every single day to make better place
Pass over the hills, reaching far flung places that dared not a step.
A leader like no other countries, salute you; the 4th Dragon King.

You work every day for people, overseeing how they are doing
Perceive their troubles and finding a way to resolve
How fortunate we are to have you, your Majesty
The worlds around us envy our citizenry for your leadership.

Your dedications remain immeasurable,
No remorse in seeing my god in you!
In this land of Thunder Dragon,
You are our visible God, 4th Dragon King!

Thanks for guiding us; you are our North Star
Bringing peace and tranquility in the country that was fragile
Greatest leader our nation’s history ever saw;
To you I bow my 4th Thunder Dragon king.

In my utmost wish I say my prayers,
May God ever bless your wishes with all the fulfillments.
May your life sparkle with laughter and Happiness.
May woe and infirmity never approach your life
May you live long with all your hopes.
May Bhutan ever be a blissful place to live in.

Happy 60th Anniversary  Our Beloved His Majesty 4th Druk Gyalpo
